Something (1) or Nothing (0)

‘A tender, witty, reflective and masterfully alluring performance.’ A Younger Theatre

A DEVISED SHOW ABOUT THE NATURE OF NOTHINGNESS.

Time-Out Live Award winner and artistic associate with Improbable Theatre, Guy Dartnell presents an informal performance-lecture using body, words, blackboard and chalk. According to certain mystics, the reality of the self might best be expressed through the number ‘0’, since they say that the notion of the self as something or ‘1’ or ‘I’ is an illusion. With his trademark humour and disarming frankness, and with some gentle inspiration from philosopher, Douglas Harding’s On Having No Head, Dartnell explores the thorny question of whether we are indeed something or nothing.
