Sinéad Rushe is an interdisciplinary artist working in performance.

At the centre of her practice is an interrogation of presence and liveness.

All the strands of her work — theatre directing, performing, writing, mentoring, coaching and teaching — focus on the details of paying attention, listening and trying to be in the here and now.

She is inspired by the methods of Michael Chekhov, Vsevolod Meyerhold (Biomechanics), Eugene Gendlin (Focusing) and Hatha Yoga.

Originally from Northern Ireland, she is based in London, UK.
